During this private event, we are delighted that the Curator of the Exhibition, Dr. KK Chan (art patron, Cambridge alumnus, alumnus from Robinson and Churchill Colleges, Cambridge), his curatorial team as well as a selection of the artists will be presenting the show for us. This includes a curated tour, a panel discussion with the curatorial team and artists, and Q&A.
This exhibition promises to be a major highlight in the Hong Kong art scene, presenting over 40 artworks with a wide range of media, compositions, subjects, backgrounds, and artistic philosophies. A number of these artists have exhibited widely, including at solo and group shows with leading galleries in HK and internationally, Art Basel HK, and Art Central HK, with artworks placed with prominent collectors, institutions, and leading museums such as HK’s M+ Museum, HK Museum of Art, K11 Art Foundation, and Oxford’s Ashmolean Museum.
Through this exhibition, these artists come together to tell their stories and create a tapestry of Hong Kong's cultural identity. Through their works, they offer a fresh perspective on Hong Kong's history, present, and future. The exhibition features a range of themes and subjects, from personal journeys of self-discovery, to explorations of the city's rich heritage.
